Our history

AutoAnything was founded in 1979 by Selwyn Klein, who began as a manufacturer and retailer of Blue Ribbon genuine sheepskin seat covers and custom carpet floor mats. In 1997, Selwyn was joined by his eldest son David and together they set out to expand their company into an online retailer of automotive accessories.

In 1999, Selwyn's younger son Trevor came on board to oversee the website development and enhancements. The strong family team has now been rounded out to add other top executives from industry-leading companies who are among the brightest and most experienced in the business of online automotive accessories.

AutoAnything Shipping Information

At AutoAnything orders placed by 2 p.m. Pacific Time are usually processed the same day. Many of the products we sell are drop shipped directly from warehouses around the country.

Although certain items are kept in stock, some products are custom made to order and require manufacturing time.

Expected ship dates are our best estimate based on past shipping times and are more than 90% accurate. Should an unexpected delay in shipping occur, we will notify you by telephone and e-mail (or letter) of the new projected shipping date and provide you with an opportunity to keep your order or cancel it for a prompt and complete refund.

In-stock items usually ship in 1-2 business days (weekends and holidays are not considered business days).

Please allow an additional 1 to 5 business days after the shipment date for delivery.

    At AutoAnything, 98% of all items have Free Shipping, which means no worries about extra costs on the vast majority of auto accessories for your vehicle. You'll see our Free Shipping logo next to the product price on any eligible item. (Free Shipping details)
  • Shipping costs for non-Free Shipping items
    For the other 2%, the shipping price appears underneath the item price on the product's page. Your shipping cost can also be viewed in your Shopping Cart before finalizing your purchase.

    The exact shipping price and time varies, depending on product size, delivery method, and other factors. Pay close attention to shipping notes next to a product's price, and you'll be up-to-date on all of the shipping factors for your item(s).
Shipping / Delivery Times
  • Estimated shipping time
    The estimated shipping time of your item(s) is available at the Order Status Page. Next to each item in your order is an estimated time for your item(s) to leave the manufacturer warehouse.
  • Delivery time
    Once the item ships, please allow an additional 1-5 business days for delivery to your door. Because our products ship from warehouses and manufacturers across the US, exact shipping method and times will vary by item. Also, your items may not ship together or arrive at the same time.
  • Expedited shipping
    If you would like express shipping for your item once it's ready to leave the manufacturer/warehouse, please email us at sales@autoanything.com. We'll contact you with the express delivery options for your items. These options are only available if your item hasn't yet shipped.

    **Please note: orders shipped with expedited delivery options are not eligible for AutoAnything's Free Shipping.

Shipping prices are clearly stated next to each product. Your shipping cost can be viewed on product pages under the heading "Shipping" or in your Shopping Cart before making a purchase final.


Free Shipping

AutoAnything has Free Shipping everyday on more than 98% of our products, saving you some valuable cash on accessories. Some restrictions do apply. Here's the details:

  • Free Shipping offer is valid only on qualified items. Eligible items are identified on their product information page with this free shipping icon:free shipping icon . They can also be identified in your shopping cart when Free appears in the shipping column.
  • Shipping method will be selected by AutoAnything. Free Shipping orders will be delivered via a standard ground shipping method selected by AutoAnything or our direct-ship manufacturers/fulfillment centers. Express shipping orders are not eligible for Free Shipping.
  • Offer does not apply to truck or freight shipments typical of oversized items. Some of the items we sell exceed the size limits for standard ground shipping and must be sent by truck or freight delivery. These items are labeled as oversized on their product information page, and will not feature the Free Shipping icon.
  • Not available on international, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or APO/FPO orders. Only standard ground shipping orders to residential and commercial addresses in the continental US are eligible for Free Shipping.
  • AutoAnything reserves the right to end or change this Free Shipping offer at any time

APO / FPO

We're proud to offer APO/FPO shipping on select items to our US military personnel and their families stationed overseas. Currently, this only includes items from our direct-ship vendors who participate in shipping to APO/FPO addresses. We are working daily to expand this list. Our goal is to get you more of the products you want with the lowest possible shipping charges.

To place an APO/FPO order, add items to the online shopping cart as normal and enter your address at checkout. An AutoAnything representative will contact you in 1-2 business days by phone or email if by chance the products you ordered cannot be shipped to your address. They will also seek your approval for the shipping costs on your order. **Your order will not be processed until we have received your approval of the shipping costs.

If you would like to determine the shipping costs before ordering, please email apo@autoanything.com and include the items you'd like to order. We'll send you a shipping quote in 1-2 business days.

**Please Note: APO/FPO addresses have size restrictions for inbound packages. Please be sure to check with the appropriate APO/FPO personnel for restrictions before ordering large items. Keep in mind that some of our oversized items cannot be shipped to APO/FPO addresses because of these restrictions.


International Ordering & Shipping

International orders

To place an international order of $500 or more (excluding shipping), get a quote for shipping outside the continental US, or to place a US order with a foreign credit card, please call 1-858-569-8111 ext. 122.

AutoAnything uses UPS for nearly all shipping outside the continental United States. We find this method to be quick, secure, and cost effective. There are a limited number of cases when we will use the US Postal Service instead. With any international order, we will notify you and gain your consent before shipping any packages.

**Currently, AutoAnything does not accept international orders less than $500 (excluding shipping).

Foreign credit cards

We gladly accept foreign credit cards (with no minimum purchase required) if used to place an order to be delivered within the continental US. These orders are not subject to additional shipping charges.

Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Canada, or US Territories will be charged additional shipping fees.

International shipping rates

If you would like to determine the shipping costs before placing your order, please call 1-858-569-8111 ext.122. Be ready with the items you want to order and the exact address to which they will be shipping.

Custom fees

International orders may be subject to tariffs, customs duties and associated assessments. These fees may include Import Duties, Value Added Taxes (VAT) and Customs Clearance Fees. These costs are entirely the responsibility of the purchaser. The shipping charge by AutoAnything does not include any of these fees. Customs fees are normally charged by the company delivering the package.

**Please Note: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs on packages that are refused or sent back to AutoAnything due to unexpected tariffs and customs fees.


Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories and Canada

AutoAnything welcomes orders from Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, other U.S. Territories and Canada. For these orders, simply proceed through checkout as usual. Most orders will receive a shipping cost at checkout.

**Please Note: Orders for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, other U.S. Territories and Canada require extra time for delivery and will be charged additional shipping fees. These orders are not eligible for Free Shipping offers.

If you're ordering from any of these areas and do not see a shipping rate after clicking on "Process Order" at checkout, AutoAnything will contact you within 1-2 business days to inform you of the shipping costs. **Your order will not be processed until we have received your emailed approval of the shipping costs.

Shipping FAQ How long will delivery take?

Because our products ship from different warehouses in different states, shipping times to your address will vary. The estimated time for your item to leave the warehouse is listed directly below price of each individual product, and on the Order Status Page. Please allow an additional 1 to 5 business days after the shipment date for delivery.

Can I get my order faster?

For expedited shipping options, please email us at expressshipping@autoanything.com. We'll contact you with the express delivery options for your items.

**Please note: orders shipped with expedited delivery options are not eligible for AutoAnything's Free Shipping.

Can I select the shipping company for my order?

AutoAnything uses the best possible shipping method for your order's delivery. The shipping company used to handle your order will vary by item, manufacturer or fulfillment center. At this time, we cannot change the shipping method used for your item(s) on request.

For expedited shipping options, please email us at expressshipping@autoanything.com. We'll contact you with the express delivery options for your item(s), if available.

**Please note: to be eligible for Free Shipping, AutoAnything must select the shipping company and method for your item. Express shipping options are not eligible for our Free Shipping offers.

Can I ship to a different address?

Absolutely! After you proceed to checkout, enter the address where you'd like your order delivered. Then, select the "no" button below, indicating the address you entered is not your billing address.

Please enter your billing address at the next screen, and make sure it's the same address that appears on your monthly statement. For extra precaution and to avoid any possible delays with your order, you may want to notify your credit card company that you are shipping to an alternate address.

Will all of my items arrive at the same time?

Because we work directly with the manufacturers, items may ship at different times from various locations in separate boxes. Therefore, we cannot assure you that items will ship together or arrive at the same time.

Will I receive a tracking number for my order?

We usually receive a tracking number from our manufacturers when your order ships. We then email this tracking number to you within 24 hours of your order shipping out, so you can easily track your package(s) from the factory to your door.

You can also retrieve a tracking number when you check your Order Status. If a tracking number is available, it will show in the "shipping status" column. Each tracking number is linked to the shipper's website for updated package status and estimated delivery date.

A tracking number may not be available for your order if the item has not shipped yet, is still being custom-manufactured for your vehicle, or if the direct-ship vendor for your item does not provide tracking numbers.

Can I give the delivery driver special instructions?

At this time, we are unable to issue special shipping instructions to delivery drivers (i.e. leave package with neighbor, leave package on porch, etc.). You may leave a note on for the driver on your door with special instructions; however, the delivery of the package is still at the discretion of the driver.

Once your item has shipped and you have received a tracking number, you can attempt to give special delivery instructions to the shipping company handling your package(s).

Will I have to sign for my package?

For your security, our manufacturers may require a signature for delivery. You may leave a note for the driver with special instructions, however, the delivery of the package is still at the discretion of the driver.
